This is an automated fraud detection service that YOUR bank pays to use. If you actually answer typically it tells you more information than it asks of you (all it asked me was my zip code) and it really did ask me about a real purchase I had made, amount, date, where etc.

Yes, this is a legitimate fraud detection number. I am very impressed how quickly I received a call asking to confirm my purchase.

I'll say this. Handle any of your fraud concerns in-house @ your lical branch and allow them to call for you on their phone line.

This is certainly NOT a span call as it is a way to help monitor any fraudulent activity that may have attempted to occur on a checking account. It's a good tool to have as it has saved me numerous times

This is, in fact, a fraud detection #. Happily, a voicemail was left on their second call. I called my personal bank's ph # (not the one left.) Got it all sorted through my bank's customer service personnel.
