This is the correct number to request a stop payment and to report your card lost or stolen. PNC will contact you regarding questionable transactions.

For all of the people who think this phone call is legit, here’s an excerpt from PNC’s Website: “. . . Remember that PNC Bank will never call you and ask for your personal information over the phone” Meaning them calling asking for my billing zip code is a scam. Please, watch out for this!!

You can't edit comments on this, so I will correct myself. After calling PNC directly they confirmed this number is an automated, AI driven system. However the person at the PNC Fraud Hotline did suggest that if you receive a number like this and aren't sure, always call them directly.

Not sure why anyone would mark this as spam. If you think this is spam, I'm worried about your life a little bit. All kidding aside, it's just like others mentioned, and is PNC advising you of suspicious activity on your account. You can confirm the transaction is okay to process or not.
