For all of the people who think this phone call is legit, here’s an excerpt from PNC’s Website: “. . . Remember that PNC Bank will never call you and ask for your personal information over the phone” Meaning them calling asking for my billing zip code is a scam. Please, watch out for this!!

This is the PNC fraud line. It is legitimate. I called and they stopped an attempt to get into my account.

You can't edit comments on this, so I will correct myself. After calling PNC directly they confirmed this number is an automated, AI driven system. However the person at the PNC Fraud Hotline did suggest that if you receive a number like this and aren't sure, always call them directly.

Not sure why anyone would mark this as spam. If you think this is spam, I'm worried about your life a little bit. All kidding aside, it's just like others mentioned, and is PNC advising you of suspicious activity on your account. You can confirm the transaction is okay to process or not.

This is the PNC Bank Loss Prevention line! ANSWER THIS! Either someone is trying to commit fraud on your account, or you need to confirm that you aren't committing fraud so your transaction will go through
