I found this number on the back of my medical health insurance and a lady from the social security office gave me the same number so I doubt it’s a scam

This number is to Dept. of Health & Human Services from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Scammers steal it & use it make you think that your call is from the USA. This Dept rarely calls anyone and if they do you can always just call them back.

I was called by this number and they claim they are from Medicare which am sure they are not. They tried to get my information which i refused
