Meet our founders
Established in 2009, Truecaller is a Swedish company founded in Stockholm by Nami Zarringhalam and Alan Mamedi. Today, Truecaller is loved by over 450 million monthly active users around the world, and is the go-to app for caller ID and spam blocking. But back then, it was a labor of love that resulted from Nami and Alan asking a simple but powerful question: who’s calling? Realizing they’d had enough of the uncertainty that accompanied unknown callers, Nami and Alan got to work. And their little big idea still holds the same passion – if you care about being fearless, getting sh*t done, helping each other and never giving up, jump aboard.
