horrible customer service the automation constantly says I didn't get that. When you press the number it repeats the same im sorry i didn't get that. Finally it will say we have a bad connection. Need Humans and stop being CHEAP

this is definitely Capital One and in my opinion they've got excellent customer service they've taken care of me both times that I've had to call them and made me a very happy little camper

This is the legitimate phone number for Capital One. I think scam calls were simply using a fake caller ID to seem like they were from Capital One for fooling people. Try the bank help online to verify this is legit.
