got a call at 4:45 am . why ? i dont use uber

I got a late night call. But didn’t receive it

As soon as I was prompted to enter the OTP I just recieved from the actual UBER app, this dude just calls me, hoping to get my OTP so he could do whatever he wants. DO NOT PICK UP HIS CALL OR GIVE HIM THE OTP. ITS A SCAM.

telecom operators should be charged with fine and penalty for not able to prevent such spam calls .. we pay the rental fee to such Operators. spam call

I don't know if it's a scamster. But when I register with mobile number otp related messages are not recieved even can't be opted. It by default says that it will be auto verified with this call. But true caller disconnects as this number is mentioned spam by many users. So am logging in with email.

Genuine call with uber otp. For some reason, Uber prefers otp over call than sms. By default, Otp comes on call first.

This is not spam. The number belongs to Uber and is used to provide 2FA code via call, while signed into Uber account.
